RS485 Configuration

Step 1 . In order to perform configuration, you will need a USB modem. 

We recommend this modem. 

Step 2. Download the configuration utility.

This utility will need LabVIEW run time driver and serial driver.

B. Serial Visa Driver

Step 3. Open the ui and select sensor configuration. 

During this step make sure you are selecting the correct serial port. The serial port baud rate should be chosen as 115200.

Step 4. Put RS485 modem in configure mode by pressing the release RST button and immediately pressing and holding the CFG button for 10 sec. After 10-sec release the CFG button. 

PR55-17C RS485 Modem — If you have this modem, then in order to put in cfg mode. Power down the device and install “C” jumper on the RS485 module and power on the device.
